through to the wine

Carignan
is all about pleasure |
Well
made, carignan brings
a freshness and equilibrium
that is very welcome
in wines from hot
climates--(but less
well made, that freshness
becomes "green"
flavors) |
We
winemakers need to
continue striving
to make our carignans
better and better,
whether pure or in
blends |
The
carignans tasted today
were EACH appreciated
highly by at least
several of the tasters,
the majority of the
wines ranged from
Good to Excellent |
